Big One Privacy Policy
Big One is a disaster-preparedness game made by Monggi, a student development team, for students of the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU). This policy explains what the game collects, why, and how you can have it deleted.
What we collect
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Your LPU email address | To create your account, send your login code, and sign you in. Only @lpunetwork.edu.ph addresses can sign up. |
| Account ID (a random ID created with your account) | To link your progress to your account. |
| Game progress: buildings you completed (game mode, disaster, building, and when), items you collected, and your selected character | To save your progress and restore it when you sign in on another phone. |
We do not collect your name, location, contacts, photos, device identifiers, or payment information. The game has no ads, no analytics, and no crash reporting.
Stored only on your phone
A local copy of your progress, your settings (music and brightness), and downloaded game content are kept on your device so the game works offline. Logging out or deleting your account erases the local progress copy.
Who processes your data
We do not sell or share your data. Two services handle it on our behalf:
- Supabase stores your account and game progress on its cloud servers.
- Gmail (Google) sends the login code to your email address.
How we protect it
All data travels over encrypted HTTPS connections. The database only lets each signed-in student read and change their own records, and an account can be signed in on one device at a time.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and progress until you delete your account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Deleting your account
In the game, open Settings (the gear on the title screen) and choose Delete account. If you no longer have the game installed, see how to request deletion.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), you may ask to see, correct, or erase your personal data, or object to its processing. Email us and we will respond within 15 days. You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above. Significant changes will also be announced in the game.
